Born in Mitrovica, Kosovo
Valon Behrami was born on April 19. He moved to Switzerland with his family during his childhood, fleeing the conflict in the Balkans.
1985
Start his youth career in Switzerland
He trained in the youth teams of Swiss clubs such as FC Stabio and Lugano.
He made his debut in the first team with Lugano in 2002.
1997-2003
Arrival in Italy – Genoa & Verona
He signed with Genoa, but was immediately loaned to Hellas Verona in Serie B, where he stood out.
2003-2005
Consecration to Lazio (Serie A)
He established himself in Serie A as a dynamic midfielder.
He scored a memorable goal in the derby against Roma in 2007.
2005-2008
Transfer to West Ham (Premier League)
He landed in England, where he played in the Premier League with West Ham United.
